Sunday October 25th, Laurence Ligier, along with Margarita S. Ibanyan and Dennis Mana-ay, and the president of the Hiligaynon association in France, were invited by the Philippian Council to the Philippian Embassy to denounce violence against women.

Accompanied by board member Ivana Tosic, Ligier presented Cameleon’s mission, focusing specifically on the rights of the child. The sobering case of Melirose, sister of one of Cameleon’s beneficiaries (read the article), opened discussion regarding the situation of Philippian domestic workers with Philippian community leaders in Paris. The president of SOS Esclaves, Anick Fougeroux, as well as representatives from the Commission for Philippians oversees, also presented during the intervention.

CAMELEON continues to mobilize and engage with the public in order to BRING THIS INJUSTICE TO AN END!
