Lyrics written by young girl survivors of sexual abuse, beneficiaries of CAMELEON Association in the Philippines, and music composed by Morgane Imbeaud, committed artist and godmother of the association. Through the voice of Morgane Imbeaud, the young girls had at heart to thank all the modern HEROES and HEROINES who help others: caregivers, humanitarians, volunteers, individual sponsors, donors. Words from the heart to say THANK YOU to all those who give without counting, just to HELP… to SAVE… to LOVE…

Morgane Imbeaud composed this song about solidarity in the time of quarantine with a very precise goal: to help children survivors of sexual abuse by giving all her rights to CAMELEON which has been acting for 23 years in France and in the Philippines to ADVOCATE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE.

Modern Heroes

I can’t believe that a problem like this may come our way,
All our plans and dreams were put on a halt on a Monday,
That all that we do, we’ll do as they say,
And in our homes should we stay.

But we, the Cameleon girls, believe that love,
Will bring us peace we’ve been longing to have,
We’ll look again up at the rising sun,
But for now, let’s all fight as one.

I sing this song for all our modern-day heroes,
I sing this song for the people who helped a lot,
Singing for those with a heart so generous,
Singing until this story twists its plot.

Oh we, the Cameleon girls, believe that love,
Will bring us peace we’ve been longing to have,
We’ll look again up at the rising sun,
But for now, let’s all fight as one.

For all the sacrifices, we say thank you,
Your bravery will always be looked up to,
We’re saving here in our hearts everything that you do,
Brave souls, this much is true.

Oh we, the Cameleon girls, believe that love,
Will bring us peace we’ve been longing to have,
We’ll look again up at the rising sun,
But for now, let’s all fight as one.

The Cameleon girls, believe that love,
Will bring us peace we’ve been longing to have,
We’ll look again up at the rising sun,
But for now, let’s all fight as one.

Let’s all fight as one.

Biography of Morgane Imbeaud

Former member of the bands Cocoon between 2005 and 2011, Peaks and ‘Un Orage’; and after having worked with Jean-Louis Murat, Julien Doré, Daniel Darc, D’arsy, Hein Cooper, Elias Dris, and a singer songwriter of the musical tale named “Les Songes de Léo”, Morgane Imbeaud returns with a new album “Amazone” in which she gives herself entirely, without make-up. For this project, she went into exile in Norway, alone, far from the others, closer to herself. She laid herself bare with a spirit of warrior: like her music, she cleaned up the subject and get tough on tone. She may have fled from frontal situations, however, Morgane Imbeaud will not raise her fists without putting anything into them. “I am one of those who stand up – I am one of those who reign,” she writes in the song “Amazone”.
A solo album, not a solitary one. There is a duet with the actress Marina Hands for “Messenger” and  with the American singer Chris Garneau for “Je t’en veux”. Besides,  Jean-Louis Murat composed the lyrics of “Si l’amour est un sport” and  Mickael Furnon the lyrics of “Je ne vous oublierai jamais”. The director of the album, sometimes composer, is Renaud Brustlein from H-Burns.
